On a sweltering summer's day at Hadlow Down Seaford came up against a very powerful Buxted Park U12s side who won the toss and batted. It wasnt long before they were finding the boundary with some powerful drives. Seaford stuck to the task well, the fielding was excellent on the day and this helped keep the score down a little. The highlight for Seaford Harvey Wootten showing some promise with some flight and guile getting him two wickets. Adam Lacy was also on his hard ball debut and impressed with an accurate over.
With such a large total to chase Seaford struggled against some impressively accurate bowling, a steady procession of wickets saw Seaford reach 70 for 9 by the end. Some lower order defence helping Seaford face all their twenty overs.
A huge amount of effort from the Seaford team against a quality Buxted Park side. Now look forward to next week's home game against Ringmer.
