On a boiling hot Sunday Morning Seaford bowlers all bowled tidily to restrict the visitors Heathfield Park U12s to 107 from their 20 overs. Top score 31 retired from J.French. The wickets were spread aorund one a piece for Laurie Weisz, Toby Smith, Cosmo Martin, Harun Bashir andtwo wickets for Harvey Wootten. All the bowlers were backed up by some fine catches and ground feilding. Seaford set off in pursuit of 108 like a steam train, getting ahead of the run rate from the off, despite the early loss of Liam Hornsby. Seaford regrouped with some fine strokeplay producing many boundaries from Callum Hall (31 retired) and a

32 not out from skipper Jake Moore, who guided his team home with three overs to spare. All batsmen played their part with some much improved running between the wickets later on in the innings keeping the pressure on Heathfield Park all the way through to the end.

Great win well done guys, look forward to the visit of Pevensey U12s next week-end.
