End Of Season Awards Evening

The end of another season for Seaford CC and in traditional fashion the Club celebrated the exploits of its teams and individuals throughout the season and gave thanks to all those volunteers, without whom there would be no cricket.

As with the last few Awards Evenings, the Junior & Adult Awards took place on same evening at the Clubhouse. A packed Clubhouse enjoyed MC for the evening, Dan Tuite, as he introduced the various awards to firstly our junior players followed by the adult player awards. The Awards were presented by our President Geoff Beal. The evening was then rounded off with an excellent curry or sausage & chips meal washed down with a few drinks.

There was also a warm welcome for two guests from Seaford Rotary Club, who made a special award to our' Junior Club Member of the Season' in recognition of this junior members efforts both on and off the field.

The main award winners were 1st XI Player of The Season, Chris Stanyard, 2nd XI 'Bill Shearing' Bowler of the Season, Maxwell Wright, The 'Rupert Webb' Outstanding Contribution to the Club Award, Simon Lewis. In recognition of all his hard work over the years in the development of the Clubhouse the Clubhouse was named the 'Phillip Court Pavilion'.
