After winning through to the Final of the Sussex Cricket League T20 Sunday Plate, played at the 1st Central County Ground at Hove, the 2nd XI lifted the Cup as they beat Middleton 3rd XI by 10 wickets on a glorious day.
Skipper Paddy Smith won the toss and choose to bowl first. Some tight bowling and fielding restricted Middleton to 111-7. Two wickets each for Jon Pitts, both clean bowled, Bilesh Jayamanne & Deiniol Cummins. The total was never enough as openers Tom Date (42* & 'Man of the Match' Robbie Gravett (58*) knocked off the runs in just 11.1 overs.
